Applying for certification upon completion of courses:
The Education Committee has revised the policy on filing for certification and created a time frame for those people successfully completing the courses (Planning/Zoning Board Secretary and/or Zoning Official).  Effective immediately, all certifications must be filed with Rutgers within three years of completion of the courses.  If the filing has passed the three year time frame, then you must re-take the courses.

Land Use Administrator renewal:
If you are unable to provide the 30 credit hours within the 5 (five) year period including the 6 (six) month grace period, then a comparable college course (minimum 3 credits) in the field of Planning may be substituted.  This course must be approved by Jackie Zelinka prior to enrollment  to receive the credit.

As a general note, request for CE approval cannot include material that is covered in the certification courses given by Rutgers.
