BREAKING NEWS…….
The New Jersey Association of Planning & Zoning Administrators (NJAPZA) is pleased to announce that Jacquelyn Zelinka is the recipient of a 2010 Achievement in Planning Award. The Achievement in Planning Awards are presented annually by the New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO) at its awards dinner. This year’s dinner was held at the Woodbridge Hilton on Friday, April 23, 2010. Jackie Zelinka’s award category was in Noteworthy Achievement to Municipal Planning & Land Use Education.

As our representative and liaison to The Center for Government Services at Rutgers
Division of Continuing Studies, Jackie Zelinka co-chairs our Education Committee which
provides valuable education to our membership of land use administrators, board
secretaries and zoning officers.
In addition to the Planning & Zoning Administration courses and seminars, Jackie is instrumental in planning our Annual June session, which presents timely, useful and innovative topics. This annual session draws land use professionals from across the state and has become one of our most successful joint ventures with Rutgers. This is due, in large part, to Jackie’s diligence with curricula development.
Additionally, she oversees and assists our membership with the certification process and continuing education credits.
The aforementioned is in addition to Jackie’s diversified responsibilities with numerous organizations related to land use and zoning.
CONGRATULATIONS, JACKIE, ON THIS WELL-DESERVED HONOR!
