On Friday, March 16, 2018, the NJAPZA offered a seminar on the Pop-Up Phenomenon – how is the use no longer the use. Discussion on the latest challenge in zoning how to address the ‘pop up use’ – whether it’s temporary usage of private lots when use is permitted to sublet uses of existing properties with a non-permitted use; empty retail stores where landlord is just trying to gain income and use has no permits.
