Notice Regarding Bylaws

As many of you may remember, the last time our Constitution and By-Laws was amended as a complete revision was in 2001. To complete that review, it took the committee almost two years for the revised version to get to the membership for adoption.   Six years later the undaunting task to once again review the document was taken on by Debra Rogers and Regina Kinney.  Since its distribution, the NJAPZA Executive Board has received many thoughtful responses regarding the proposed amendment.  Therefore, the Executive Board has decided to remove the Constitution & By-Laws amendment action item from our agenda this November.

We appreciate the time and effort that all of you have spent in providing your input and since there is no need to rush to adopt these changes, your comments will be brought back to the January Executive Board Meeting.  The Constitution & By-Laws Committee will be established under the leadership of NJAPZA’s new president.  Once the committee studies the proposed revisions, a revised draft of the Constitution & By-Laws Amendment will be brought back to the membership to be considered at its 2008 Annual Luncheon.  Thank you again for participating in this review.
